About Sydney Noelle

I’m a lifelong photographer shaped by nostalgia. The kind that lingers in old photographs, warm light, and the small moments we don’t realize are becoming memories. I call the north coast of San Diego home, and my work is rooted in connection: the connection between the people I photograph, and the quiet, trusting connection we build together.

Specializing in intimate weddings and bespoke elopements has carried me across the world — from the cliffs of Iceland to the sun-soaked islands of Greece, from quiet Italian villages to the hidden corners of the U.S. But no matter the destination, the heart of my work remains the same: two people, a story only they can tell, and the tenderness that exists between them. My inspiration always begins with the couple... their history, their rhythms, the way they move toward each other without thinking.

When I’m not on a plane or capturing love somewhere far from home, you’ll likely find me wandering thrift stores for forgotten treasures, stretched out on the sand at one of my favorite beaches, or planning our next adventure with my husband, Daniel.

I’m deeply honored to be a member of The Friend Club and grateful to have my work featured in publications such as Vogue Weddings, Harper’s Bazaar, People Magazine, Anti Bride, Over the Moon, The Lane, Green Wedding Shoes, and Together Journal — a reminder that heartfelt, human storytelling will always find its place.

I grew up in a rural pocket of Southern California, northeast of San Diego — the kind of place where childhood felt wide and untamed. My days were spent stargazing on warm summer nights, catching tadpoles in muddy ponds, building fairy houses beneath oak trees, and running wild through citrus groves that stretched for miles. For so long I resented being so far from “civilization,” but as the years have passed, I’ve realized what a gift it was to grow up in a world shaped by imagination.

I feel incredibly grateful to still live near the landscape that raised me. I’ve traveled the world, but my heart always returns to this coastline. The salt-heavy air, wide opens skies... every part of this place finds its way into my work. It shapes the way I see light, the way I tell stories, and the way I hold onto the beauty in the in-between.
In July 2022, I married my husband, Daniel, amongst the olive trees of Mallorca, Spain. This island holds such a special place in our hearts, and we extended the invitation to 45 of our closest friends and family to share the experience with us.

The week was an unforgettable one of laughter, late-night dinners, sea swims, and sailing days, solidifying itself as our most sacred memory. The love and sheer joy that surrounded us was unlike anything else, and the entire experience was the most beautiful manifestation of everything we hold dear. It really magnified my passion for helping my couples to come back to themselves in this industry and keep their authenticity and values at the forefront when planning their own celebration. Having experienced my own intimate wedding, I know firsthand how much every fleeting moment matters. I photograph weddings with this same reverence, ensuring your story is preserved with care.
